My favourite cake is always chocolate cake. If someone's buying, I like a fat chocolate mud. If I'm making, I do my never-fail recipe from childhood. I'll post the recipe some time soon. No sponge or light stuff. I like the gooey feeling.
I love chocolate cake too - it's always my first choice, but I also like citrus+poppyseed cakes, and my Mum's sponge is wonderful.
